The Cervini Speedster Cover for the 1994-2004 Convertible Mustang is a great way to add some extra style to your pony by giving it a two seat speedster look. The installation of the Cervini Speedster Cover is medium on the difficulty meter. So for those individuals that find the attached (below pdf) instructions overwhelming, professional installation is highly recommended. Note - The Cervini Speedster Covers come unfinished and requires painting before final installation.

First pre-fit the speedster covers in place before painting or installation. Lower the top, With the convertible top in the down position, tape the provided template to the top of the interior side panel aligning it with the edges of the panel. With a 1/8” drill bit, drill through the top of the panel in the two marked areas. Repeat this step for the other side using the same template. Once the holes are drilled you will need to remove the retaining clip holding the panel in place so you can install the back-up washer behind the panel. Then you will install the snap buttons, rivets, and back-up washers. Place the O-ring on top of the rivet when installing, this will ensure that the rivets are crimped down tightly. Install the speed-nut onto the metal brace behind the interior panel where the plastic retainer was inserted, then push the interior panel back into place and install the button head cap screw. Place each speedster cover on the car and test fit. Insert the seatbelt brace into one of the seatbelt buckles in the center of the rear seat, then install the threaded knob through the speedster cover and into the seatbelt brace. The second knob is to go through the center of the speedster cover and into the speed-nut that should already be installed in one speedster cover. Only once the speedster covers have been painted, can you install the weatherstripping even along the outer edge over speedster cover.
