The ’97 Mustang focused more on base model standard equipment which included; anti-theft system, five-speed manual transmission, power and rear disc brakes, cloth reclining bucket and split rear seats, console w/ arm rest, power windows, dual air bags, side glass defoggers, tinted glass, power steering, tilt wheel, front stabilizer bar, front McPherson struts, and rocker panel moldings. Unfortunately, Ford experienced it’s second straight year of declining Mustang Sales for all; 3.8L V6, 4.6L V8, and Cobra in both coupe and convertible models.
