This car was originally given away as a prize by one of the local casinos here in South Mississippi. The new owner titled the car and then decided to sell it back to the casino. We purchased it as a used vehicle with 18 miles on it, at a substantial discount over the M.S.R.P. We never thought about putting dual exhaust on it until January of 2008 when we were rear-ended. Since the rear bumper had to be replaced in addition to the exhaust, we added the GT rear bumper and dual exhaust, and it only cost us about $100.00 over what the insurance paid. Believe it or not, the GT bumper is $8.00 cheaper than the V6 bumper. We've always loved the Mustang and also own a Museum-quality Candy-Apple Red 1968 Mustang hardtop. The retro look of the 2005 and its similarity to our '68 is definitely what attracted it to us. I bought the 2005+ Chrome Bullitt 18"x9" wheels and NITTO Extreme Performance 255/45/18 tires for the wife (she primarily drives it and it's really her car) as a Christmas present. Wow - what a difference they made. We definitely get lots of second looks now. Gorgeous wheels!
