In the first Stage of our project car series, we show you how to take a stock 2011 V6 Mustang and drop over a half-second off of your ¼ mile results with a simple bolt-on mod and tune!
Want to slash those ¼ mile times even further and look good while doing it? That's what we did in Stage 2 with a set of gears and some new shoes that look amazing at the same time!
If you're ready to take the handling of your 2011 V6 to the next level, Stage 3 is for you. We put this V6 to the test on the track with a bunch of new suspension parts that changed our sixer into the street machine we knew it could be!
Warning to all friends of V6 owners: Stage 4 might surprise, shock and even beat your V8! This car not only looks mean and sounds mean; it's got every bit of the horsepower it needs to back it up!
12.47 is a respectable 1/4 mile time for any V6, but we weren't quite finished! In Stage 5, we took this V6 to the next level with more boost, a larger intercooler, slicks/skinnies and even a 4000-stall torque converter. Thanks to a little fine tuning, help from our Bama Performance tuning specialists, we were able to pull it all together into an 11-second dragstrip concoction!
