Hardware

Increases Horsepower and Torque. The biggest "bang for the buck" modification that anyone can make to their V6 Mustang is adding a Steeda cold air intake. Steeda's uniquely designed CAI allows your pony to breathe easier which translates into a significant increase of 16 to 20 more horsepower at the rear wheels.

Reusable High Flow Air Filter. The included Steeda dual cone air filter has more surface area than competitors single cone filters to allow your Pony to breath much easier for more power. And best of all the filter is reusable, just clean it, re-oil it, save money and go.

Stainless Steel Heat Shield. Steeda knows that hot air is bad for combustion. That's why they have included a heat shield made from 304 stainless steel to reduce the intake temperature to within 5-10 degrees of the ambient air for more horsepower.

Application. This Steeda Cold Air Intake System is specifically designed for use on the 2005 to 2009 V6 Mustangs equipped with the 4.0L engine. A computer re-tune is required for operation.

Technical note: Installation of this Steeda CAI requires the use of a SCT SF3/X3 PowerFlash or SCT LiveWire tuner to reprogram the cars computer for the Cold Air Intake.
