    WOW! or WOT!

    March 03, 2012

This intake is cheap but you wouldn't be able to tell! aFe came with everything you need! Directions skip a few small details, but it's fits in like a glove. I have a manual trans. and it DID come with a tube plug. DO use the rubber seal/washer(it will come out) from the STOCK airbox for the new heat shield(i don't think directions mentioned it). But talk about a throaty roar!!! Loud loud loud and all from the engine! make people second guess what you have under the hood and get this! Pop the hood and the looks of the big intake is something you can't ignore. low rpm's is all about the suck sound, but when you step on it(3,500rpms+)... Let's just say it'll probably lower my mpg's because I can't keep my foot out of it! Highly recommended! Get it! Thanks AM and aFe!

    Great sound and feel!

    August 24, 2012

I bought this to boost the HP and increase my MPG on my 13' V6. This, however, will not increase your MPG because you will want to floor it every where you go just to hear the roar. The sound is fantastic even with music playing and windows up from 3000+ RPM. The installation couldn't be easier, this took me less than 20 minutes even as a first time installing an intake. Fitment was incredibly easy as long as you don't tighten the hose clamps until its all put into place. With this intake installed freeway on ramps are your best friend.

    Quick and easy hp

    July 27, 2012

Tried to rig up my own CAI. no luck, car wouldn't run. Got a great deal on this one. 30 mins to install, sounds great after 3500 rpm. I'm thinking I got about 10-12 hp gain.

    INSANE INTAKE

    April 19, 2012

only bad thing is that it isn't a perfect fit but we managed. This Intake is VERY loud and makes it seem like you have headers on it. noticed better fuel economy, and better throttle response. This is a no brainer.

    AFE Cold Air Intake

    March 09, 2012

Easy install, Monster manly growl, no change in gas mileage, some horsepower gains. Basically an expensive noise maker. Don't get me wrong, this is a very well made product. I do look for every opportunity to hear it growl. I think no matter which of the brands you choose you would get the same results. I have only had this installed for a week, but have put well over 300 miles on it. I will update this review if the mileage improves, I do primarily in town driving. I have made no other up-grades, I can just imagine what a good set of mufflers would do for overall sound.

    aFe CAI V6

    March 09, 2012

Overall, I'd give this CAI a 6 out of 10. I did encounter some fit issues. The rubber boot from the air box to the intake tube is not the correct angle (needs to be more severe). Thus, squaring up the intake tube to install the clamp was a bit of a challenge. Also, all the rubber pieces are lubed, and when installing the clamps, the smooth aluminum tube just squirts out like a watermelon seed no matter how tight you get those clamps. I wound up putting one rotation of electrical tape at each clamp point and they stuck. Remember to flip the MAF Sensor over to keep it pointing in the right direction, as it mounts in the rear. No mention of that in the directions. The MAF wire is a bit tight because of the rear mounting direction, but is acceptable. When the PCV hose is installed, it is almost kinking due to the angle being wrong on the intake pipe. aFe could have done alot better on this fit wise.
