The Momentum GT Cold Air Intake replaces the restrictive stock air box and paper filter element with a one-piece air box and a free flowing Pro 5R filter assembly. This Intake will improve the airflow path into your GT's engine creating more usable power and better fuel economy.

No Tune Required. This AFE Momentum GT Pro 5R Cold Air Intake is designed to improve the performance of your coyote powered GT without the need of reprogramming your Mustang computer. By utilizing state of the art computer-aided designs this AFE Intake will increase power using the factory tune.

Pro 5R Air Filter. The included Pro 5R air filter is engineered to effectively filter out minuscule power robbing particulates while maintaining excellent air flow. Pro 5R air filters feature a polyurethane frame with 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze oiled media to ensure superior filtration and outstanding engine protection. Best of all the Pro 5R air filter is re-usable, just wash, re-oil and re-use.

Unique One-Piece Air Box. This AFE Momentum GT Cold Air Intake features a custom CAD designed one-piece roto-molded air intake housing to increase airflow. Utilizing the factory cold air ducting to draw cooler air from the grille, the Momentum GT air box outflows the factory intake by an impressive 25%. One of the cooler features of the Momentum GT air box is the clear plexiglass window. This window not only adds eye catching appeal, but makes it easy to check your filters condition with just a glance.

Straight Forward Installation. Designed to be a direct fit replacement for the factory intake this AFE Momentum GT Pro 5R Cold Air Intake installs with just basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required for an easy 1 hour installation. All necessary parts and instructions are included.

Recommended Upgrade. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanMuscle recommends a custom tune with a Mustang Handheld Tuner. By reprogramming the vehicles computer (ECU) to you will get the best possible power and performance increases from this cold air intake.

Application. This AFE Momentum GT Cold Air Intake System with Pro 5R filter is specifically designed to fit the 2015-2017 GT Mustangs equipped with the coyote 5.0L DOHC V8 engine. The included Pro 5R filter is blue in color.

Technical Note. This AFE Cold Air Intake is not CARB certified at this time therefore it is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards.
