Installation Instructions

1. Disconnect the negative battery cord from the battery using a #8 socket

2. Remove the engine cover by pulling up with both hands on the location shown in the picture and also on each side

3. Remove the bolt holding the cold air intake in place (note the placement of the bolt by the arrow) using a #10 socket with at least a 3 inch extender

4. Remove the 3 tubes connected to the cold air intake. The resonator tube requires the use of pliers for removal

5. Remove the air sensor connector by pulling the red tab up away from the cold air intake first and then pulling the plug

6. Loosen the clamp closest to the throttle body using the flathead screwdriver. Lift out the cold air intake as it is now disconnected.

7. Using a #10 socket with at least a 3 inch extender, loosen the 4 bolts holding the throttle body in place. Remove the throttle body from the manifold and set it to the side (Note: DO NOT remove the plug connected to the throttle body). Discard the bolts as they are replaced by the ones included with the Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer.

8. Place the new bolts through the throttle body, make sure the washers are between the head of the bolt and the throttle body. Slide on the supplied gasket and then slide on the Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer. It must be done in this order (see the picture on the right)

9. Line up the bolts with the holes on the manifold and tighten them just a little bit using your fingers.

10. Tighten the bolts using a #10 socket with at least a 3 inch extender in the order shown in the picture

11. Reconnect the cold air intake at the throttle body first and position it back in place. Tighten the clamp closest to the throttle body using the flathead screwdriver

12. Using the bolt removed earlier, tighten down the cold air intake using a #10 socket and at least a 3 inch extender

13. Reconnect the 3 hoses to the cold air intake. You will need to use pliers to reconnect the resonator tube

14. Reconnect the air sensor plug and push the red clip in

15. Place the engine cover back in place and push down firmly with both hands in the same locations that were used to pull up on earlier.

16. Reconnect the negative battery cord and tighten down using a #8 socket

17. Enjoy your new Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer :)
