NHRA Legal. ARP's high strength rear wheel studs meet NHRA requirements for safety to prevent a possible lug failure from the high stresses of racing. These press-in wheel studs feature a 3.5" underhead length with a 0.625" knurl diameter.

Premium Quality. Made in the USA from 8740 chromoly steel with a cadmium plated finish to resist corrosion, these ARP wheel studs are hardened to a tensile strength of 190,000 psi to provide superior strength for long-lasting performance. These studs are heat treated and then rolled to provide optimum fatigue strength.

Application. This set of five ARP Rear Wheel Studs are designed as a direct fit for all 1979 to 2004 Ford Mustang rear axles, including the LX, V6, GT, Bullitt and SVT Cobra models. ARP Rear Wheel Stud

Very strong studs, easily installed ten of these in an hour and with correct tools. Make sure and apply some yield or safecracker and they will pull up into the hub easily, as the last reviewer stated

ARP wheel studs

I always up grade with ARP products, when ever I mod my street/strip Mustang. I've seen wheel studs break and then the remaining studs zipper, (break in sequence), so that the wheel falls off the car.

    ARP Rear Wheel Stud

Very strong studs, easily installed ten of these in an hour and with correct tools. Make sure and apply some yield or safecracker and they will pull up into the hub easily, as the last reviewer stated save your old lug nuts to pull up the new studs after a few uses the lug nut will be damaged, so obviously you would not want to use your new ones. Would also recommend running a die up on them to rechase the threads, over all well worth the money. I had to buy them to install the 315/35/17 wheels i bought for my 96 mustang gt, since the stock studs were to short once i put the 5/16 wheel spacers on to get the wheels off the rear shocks

    Great product

Installed on a 2003 Cobra IRS without issues or drilling. Having air tools to drive them in makes it go a lot faster but not necessary to get the job done. Make sure to get one or two extra open end lug nuts with a few washers to dive them into the hub, don't plan on reusing the lug nuts used to drive them in they'll most likely be ruined.

    ARP wheel studs

I always up grade with ARP products, when ever I mod my street/strip Mustang. I've seen wheel studs break and then the remaining studs zipper, (break in sequence), so that the wheel falls off the car. I've never seen ARP studs and bolts fail. I recently up graded my axles, and when I put new axles into my car I upgraded to ARP studs. A word of caution/information, these are a little longer that the original factory axle studs so if you have ornamental wheels with ornamental wheel nuts you may want to modify the length before installation.

    ARP is Great!

Installed these at the same time I installed Moser 31 spline axles and a 31 spline FRPP differential. It absolutely pays to put these in while everything is apart. For $40 total it's a great investment that prevents you from worrying about ever breaking a stud. ARP is the best there is when it comes to hardware!
