Barricade's Tailgate Assist uses a damping strut to slowly and smoothly open your F-150's tailgate when unlatched, preventing it from just dropping open. The Tailgate Assist is ideal for those times when you only have one free hand to open your tailgate.

      Simple, Bolt-on Installation. Barricade Off-Road designed their Tailgate Assist to be a direct bolt-on upgrade reusing existing factory mounting points. There is no drilling or modifications required for a simple straight forward install. With just a set of basic hand tools this Barricade Tailgate Assist can be installed in less then 30 minutes.

      Application. The Barricade Tailgate Assist is designed to fit all 2015-2024 Ford F-150 including King Ranch, Lariat, Limited, Platinum, XL and XLT models.
