Custom Bama Tunes specific to your vehicle. When you order a tuner, you aren't just getting a tuner - you are getting the tuner and 2 dyno-tested custom Bama tunes:

  • Performance V2 (87-93 Octane) - The Performance Tune offers a seamless blend of power, performance and drive-ability. Improving the overall driving experience of your Mustang, the Bama Performance Tune improves vehicle acceleration, increases power throughout the entire RPM and improves throttle response with revised timing, fuel, and TiVCT maps. Automatic equipped vehicles offer an aggressive shifting map to provide more aggressive transmission settings. This tune is suggested for the aggressive daily driver that is looking for more "get up and go".

  • Race V2 (91-93 Octane, E85, Race Fuel) - The Race Tune is designed for maximum performance and ensures the largest increase in vehicle performance. Using the highest grade of fuel available in your area is mandatory as timing, TiVCT, fuel, and throttle response settings are very aggressive. Automatic transmission settings implement entirely new shift points, torque converter changes and firmness settings designed for Track use.

Nitrous (91, 93, E85, Race Fuel) - Our nitrous option can be added to any of our previously mentioned tune options, but only for 91, 93, E85, or Race Fuel.

Technical Note About Fuel. Use of E85 will require larger fuel injectors such as Injector Dynamics ID1300 or Ford Racing 47lb/hr Injectors. Unleaded race fuel can also be used, but Stoichiometric points must be supplied.

Easy to load; easy to restore. Not only are the custom tunes easy to load on your vehicle, it is just as easy to restore your factory settings. When you load your custom tune on the vehicle, the tuner automatically stores your vehicle's factory settings. To return the vehicle to its factory settings, just plug the tuner back in, select the option to restore the factory settings, and you're done.

the air intake is great the throttle response has improved and the exhaust sound has deepened. the torque has improved and overall its great, underhood apperance makes the car look more intimidating and the sound when driving sounds almost like a supercharger when you hit the gas. i had a few problems with the install though. the air sensor didnt fit so i had to dremel the inlet hole a little bit and the heat shield had to be bent a little in order to make it fit. they also forgot to give you the silicone nipple needed for manual transmissions. i just used silicone tape and problem solved! overall im extremely happy with everything and i recommend it anyone

I got the cold air kit and the 73 mm throttle body kit + tuner

You could tell that these items were designed and engineered for the Mustang. they were installed in an hour. easiest bolt on after market kit ever. We did have some trouble with the tuner, because Ford had changed the tune from what was stamped on the computer. The staff at AM was right there to help get it correct and WOW. Horsepower and zero to 60 is an impressive 6 seconds now. From a V-6 that is indeed impressive. Plus now if we get an engine light we can plug the tuner in and get the code and call the Ford garage. Thanks guys!

BBK Blackout Cold Air Intake (for 11-14 V6)

This BBK Blackout Cold Air Intake is a excellent first mod for any Mustang! I installed this on my 2011 Mustang V6 equipped with the V6 Performance Package with 3.73 gears and it is straight out awesome! The BBK Blackout Cold Air Intake along with the Bama Tuner gives you a solid and very noticeable amount of horsepower increase and is worth every bit it cost. It only took around an hour to install just by following the directions and watching the install video by BBK and American Muscle. I would most definitely recommend this to any V6 owner as a first mod to their Mustang. Thanks to American Muscle for the awesome combo!

    BBK blackout cold air

When I bought my cold air take along with the tuner I figured I'd get some gain from it. But I got way more than I expected. It blew me away. I have a 2014 v6 with a bassani axle back exhaust and after adding the cold air intake it made it sound even better. Also makes the car look nicer and more full under the hood.

Review from BBK Blackout Cold Air Intake (11-14 V6)

Backout of the Blackout - (If all of them were made as carelessly as mine was)

For $300, I was excited to get a straight and black CAI setup for my red and black themed mustang. And because I want to be fair, if my kit was delivered in perfect condition (as you think a brand new product should) I would have written a pretty favorable review. BBK (or whomever was responsible for adhering the Mass Air Sensor interface to the CAI tube) failed big time and almost made my product a $300 paperweight. There is an aluminum housing just inside of the tube and it has a hole in it that should allow for the Mass Air Sensor to fit right in. On my kit, the housing was attached so sloppily that the holes were off by half an inch. Half an inch is a big miss, when you are supposed to fit a Mass air sensor into it snugly. To remedy the problem I had to get out a hammer and a file and bang and shave until I was able to get enough clearance back to fit my Mass air sensor through. I would be happy with the product had I not needed to do that. But because of someone's carelessness (probably a Friday and wanted to go home, or maybe they had a huge quota and not a lot of time...) but whatever the reason was, my kit was carelessly put together and it was a big disappointment. So like I said at the beginning, if all of the kits were built like mine, save your money for a better CAI. If I happened to be the one out of 200 that turns out to be a dud, hopefully you'll be one of the lucky 199.

Review from BBK Blackout Cold Air Intake (11-14 V6)

Looks nice and works well IF... they don't send you a screwed up product

I bought this product not being completely sure about it but I was excited. When I got the product I was excited to install it myself. The directions were not very good, but I was going to try to manage based off of the installation video. This video does skip some details and some important things, but I figured it out eventually with constant pausing of the video and close examination of how they were doing certain things (like which way to put the mass air flow sensor into the bbk intake). This brings me to the main problem. First of all, look at the written instructions on the american muscle website for installing this intake to see what tools you need to install it yourself because I did not have a T20 torx screwdriver. I didn't even know what that was. Next, you have to remove the mass air flow sensor from the stock mustang intake and put it into the bbk intake. I removed it from the stock intake fine, but when I went to put it into the bbk intake it would not fit. I tried to force it in there and everything, but it turns out that bbk did not put the bracket type thing that you insert the mass air flow sensor into to straight. It was very crooked, and thus the mass air flow sensor would not fit into the bbk intake. I ended up grinding down the slot that this sensor is supposed to go into and the bracket thing until it finally fit. I was worried that it might not work, but so far it has and I don't have a check engine light or anything. I can hear the bbk cai working and I do notice a slight increase in power and responsiveness. The only other problem is the cai is a very tight fit into the car and you pretty much have to insert a bolt into one slot and tighten it slightly and then pull/push the intake to align another bolt slot and continue until you have all the bolts in and the intake is finally in place. In the end, even if you do receive a product that isnt screwed up in the first place, it is still a very tricky fit, but it is possible. My friend and I (both 18) finally completed the installation after probably (guessing a little) 5 hours. I wish you luck if you get this product and it shouldn't be too difficult if you don't get a messed up product. Just a tight fit and not the best instructions. It does look great and works pretty well too even though I really didn't know what to expect from its performance. One other thing is the intake does have a whistle sound like all cold air intakes that I've heard and sounds pretty good, however I can just faintly hear the intake over my aftermarket exhaust. You will be able to hear it if your exhaust isn't too loud. Good luck.

Be sure you buy the tools you need before trying to install

Im a beginner and I look at every install video on youtube and it took about 2 hours. One main reason it took so long was i didn't have to screw drivers I needed and I didn't know how to take out the radiator pins good. If you have the screw driver you need it should take too long. 2014 V6 3.7 mustang install

I installed this in my 2014 v6 premium mustang. Before I go Into specifics I wanted to address some concerns with the fitting of the O2 sensor. I actually had an issue with fitting as well but realized this when I was using the stock factory screws to screw in the O2 sensor on the bbk intake. You should be supplied with two screws that are the correct measurement for perfect fitting. If you use the screws from your factory intake it will cause it to not fit, so double check this before you install! The Cold Air Intake did what it was intended to do and increase airflow to my engine and I really enjoy the deep growl and response in the pedal. I recommend watching the video of how to install it's fairly easy and that's cause this was the first CIA I have ever installed. On a side note I believed the hardest task was when removing the stock airflow connected to the front. On a side note and one of my major concerns with this product is that the stock intake had a flap that directed air into the intake and the bbk ( and maybe just how 2014 mustangs are built ) doesn't have anything directing airflow to the bbk intake and it's located directly behind the headlight.. So my concern is air flow.. Right now I'm trying to figure out how I can get fresh air to my new bbk intake..
