Follow these instructions carefully to ensure correct fitment and operation.

  • Jack vehicle up and support on sturdy stands or place vehicle on a lift.

STEP 2.

  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

STEP 3.

  • Unplug the rear oxygen sensors at back of the engine and side of the transmission on both sides.

STEP 4.

  • Loosen the clamps at the rear of the catalytic converter pipes where they connect to the front of the mid H-Pipe on both sides.

STEP 5.

  • Using a jack stand or blocks, support the back half of the exhaust system from falling down as you remove the catalytic converter pipes.

STEP 6.

  • Unbolt and remove the catalytic converters by removing the bolts from the exhaust manifolds.

STEP 7.

  • Remove the oxygen sensors form the stock catalytic converters and install into BBK delete tubes. Sensors will point to the inside with when tubes are installed. NOTE!!! As you thread the oxygen sensor back into the part the anti-seize will spread evenly throughout the threads.

STEP 8.

  • Place the tubes into place and connect them to the exhaust manifolds with the supplied bolts and nuts. You will reuse the stock metal flange gaskets or replacements from Ford.

STEP 9.

  • Connect the rear portion of the tubes to the stock mid H-Pipe using the stock clamps, and then tighten. . These delete pipes also work well with BBK’s Replacement X-Pipe. # 1460

STEP 10.

  • Reconnect the oxygen sensors. Reconnect the battery and start the engine to check for any exhaust leaks.
