BBK Chrome Long Tube Headers (96-98 Cobra)

These BBK chrome headers will greatly improve your Mustangs exhaust flow over the restrictive stock factory manifolds and increase your Pony's horsepower and torque. Increases of up to 22 RWHP have been seen when installed with a BBK shorty mid-pipe.

Quality BBK Construction. BBK Long Tube Exhaust headers are manufactured from 1-5/8" CNC mandrel bent tubing for unrestricted airflow. And feature one piece laser cut 3/8" header flanges for added strength, leak-free performance and OEM fit. These headers are then completed in a bright chrome finish for great muscle car looks and a long life.

Recommended Upgrade. To realize the full power potential that these Long Tube Headers have to offer, AmericanMuscle recommends a custom tune with either a SCT SF3 or Diablosport InTune Custom Tuner.

Application. These Chrome Long Tube Headers are designed to fit the 1996 to 1998 SVT Cobra Mustangs equipped with a manual transmission. BBK long tube headers require a flanged end shorty midpipe in order to function properly. BBK recommends using a BBK shorty H or X-Pipe for the best performance gains (see drop down option above).

Note: 1998 SVT Cobras will require modification to driver side emissions tube for proper installation.
