BBK Lowering Springs - Coupe & Convertible - Progressive Rate (79-04 GT, Mach 1; 93-98 Cobra)

Improves Handling. BBK Performance engineered their Progressive Rate Springs to lower your Mustang's center of gravity, there by reducing body roll in the turns, squat during acceleration, and excessive nose-dive under hard braking. These progressive rate springs will give you a firmer ride and the handling you need for spirited daily driving, street, and even track use.

Aggressive Stance. BBK Performance Springs not only improve the handling of your V8 powered Mustang, but they also improve the overall appearance by lowering the ride height approximately 1.25" in the front and 1.25" in the rear to eliminate that nasty raised 4x4 truck look for a more aggressive muscle car stance.

Recommended Upgrade. When installing new springs you should also replace your old worn out rubber Spring Isolators with a new set of Polyurethane Spring Isolators, see drop down option above.

Application. This set of four BBK Performance Progressive Rate Lowering Springs are designed for use on the 1979 to 2004 V8 Ford Mustang coupes and convertibles, including the LX 5.0, GT, Bullitt, Mach 1, and 1993-1998 SVT Cobra models. Does not fit 1999-2004 IRS-equipped SVT Cobras.

Technical Note. These BBK Performance springs will also fit convertibles, but may lower the ride height an additional ¼ inch.
