Application The BBK Specific Rate Lowering Springs are specifically designed for use on the 1979 to 2004 V8 mustangs, but exclude the 1999 to 2004 Cobras with Independent Rear Suspension (IRS).

Technical Note. These BBK springs will also fit 79-04 convertibles, but may lower the ride height an addition ¼ inch. These springs will not fit 1999 to 2004 SVT Cobra's with Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) or GT Mustangs converted to IRS.
