Great look!

Pros: Looks, materials, finish Cons: No alignment pins. If they had alignment pins like the stock emblems this would be a perfectly easy install.

Easy install even for a novice

removing the favored badges and installing the black badges were much easier than I first thought. Taped off factory with painters tape then used fishing line to cut through the tape on the factory ones, used my fingers to pull off as much residue as I could and then goo gone for the rest. Clean area with rubbing alcohol and then install AM badges inside the painters tape template that I placed around the factory badges. There are vids on YouTube to guide you.

    5.0 emblem

Removing the emblem is no problem but cleaning off the old gunk was a hassle. The driver side just rolled off with my fingers but the passenger side had to use a plastic scraper, took about 3hours to clean it off. But it paid off, looks great.

    Looks Great

I had some issues when taking off the stock emblems. The stock backing to the chrome emblems stayed on the car when peeling off. Instead of using goo gone or a harsh brillo pad too take off the remaining foam adhesive, use your thumb to peel it off. I ended up having a faded finish behind the passenger side emblem that i had to re-polish and wax multiple times to get the sheen back due to using a harsh brillo pad to take off the original sticky foam. The driver side turned out perfect using my thumb to peel off the remaining stock foam. Overall great product and will recommend to others. I guess it was trial and error on my part to remove the stock emblems.

Review from Matte Black Coyote Style 5.0 Emblem

Great product, changes look of car

Simple install. Removing the factory emblems/adhesive is the most time consuming part. I used fishing string to seperate the factory emblems from fender (does a good job and wont scratch paint). I then used an "eraser wheel" to remove the residual adhesive. If you have never used an eraser wheel to remove stickers/adhesive try it, well worth the money. New emblems dont have tabs like the factory ones but easy to align using the factory emblems and some tape as a template. Looks great on my all black GT. Thanks AM

5.0 Gloss Black is the way to go if you have a bright car

While most of the colors of Mustangs out there will work just fine with these, if you have a brighter color these are a great contrast than the stock metallic logos. I have a Race Red Mustang and the black logos really look awesome. Install is a little tricky, but just get yourself a heating gun, some fishing line, and some 3M Adhesive remover.. you can pick it up online for about $15 or less in some cases. Heat up the logo with the gun, use fishing line to go behind it, and pull them off, then the 3M remover to clean off the old sticky residue. It takes some time and work still to get it all off, but the 3M remover will make it easier. Be sure to measure before you pull them all off so you can place the new logos in the right spot. I just used painters tape to mark the spot before I pulled the stock logos off. Overall, a little work and cash for a great look. I totally recommend these.

Review from Matte Black Coyote Style 5.0 Emblem

    Nice look

I had a shop install mine cause I was getting a polish job done anyways, so I just asked them to put the emblems on for me and they agreed, no charge. But the matte black gave the appearance I was looking for my 5.0. The guy who installed it said it didn't have the notches on the back of the 5.0 emblem like the original 5.0 emblems. But it's designed just right to cover up the original holes, perfectly. Recommend this product for that flat black look.

Matte Black Coyote Style 5.0 Emblems

Easy to install. I used light adhesive painters tape as a guide to mark where I needed to put the new ones. Used a blow dryer to heat the old ones for 5 minutes and slowly pulled them off. Used an adhesive remover to clean off the rest of the sticky goo, and then cleaned the surface with alcohol. On the 2013 Mustang GT, there are guide holes for the previous emblems so you'll have to carefully place the new emblems so that they cover the holes. Placed the new Matte black ones and BAM...they look amazing with the overall theme of my car. I was amazed at how much something so small could make such a huge difference aesthetically. Very happy with this inexpensive visual upgrade! Thanks AM!

    Nice look to the car

These were easy to install and look great on my stang. They add the perfect touch of black to my car. The only downfall to these is they do not have the prongs like the original badges that come on the car so you have to be careful how you line them up!

    Just like factory badges

Not much to say about these beyond the title. They're gloss, not matte, so if you're looking for matte, these aren't for you. The tape on the back stuck really well. Nuff said.
