Looks awesome!!!!!

The looks of the grille are fantastic, the instructions aren't. Being a novice handyman at best in regards to cars, the upper grille was easy. Just be careful removing the original grille, it is very easy

    Looks awesome!!!!!

The looks of the grille are fantastic, the instructions aren't. Being a novice handyman at best in regards to cars, the upper grille was easy. Just be careful removing the original grille, it is very easy to scratch your bumper especially if you do not decide to completely remove the original grille. I installed it without removing the fog lights as suggested. The upper grille instructions are 99% accurate and with pictures. The lower grille instructions are just horrible. Don't bother re-reading the 4 lines of instruction over and over looking for the answer you might have missed, it isn't there. The problem is getting the bracket to hold on to the fascia while you are threading a screw through it. I kept knocking it off. I was placing the bracket on top, not on the sides. My solution was to reach from the lower left of the grille and place a finger against the RIGHT bracket while I threaded the screw through it and tighten it slightly and then switch to the left side. Be careful not to put too much pressure on the grille because it will bend out of shape. If you have large forearms, forget it. I also suggest googling and checking out various mustang forums for install help. A lot of good ideas there too. I really love how it looks and I get a lot of compliments. Completely worth the minor hassle of installing myself.

    Lower Grill

I bought this lower grill (black) to protect the supercharger radiator on my 2010 Mustang from stone damage. The grill is well made, it fits perfectly into the lower grill opening and it looks great. The method of installation, however, is atrocious. The grill attaches with two long screws that pass through holes in the grill and tread into J-hooks designed to hook onto the 'lips' of the side plastic walls inside the grill opening. I found it impossible to do this. There are two, cheap, spring clips (that will rust) that must be placed over the J-hooks for the long screws to thread into. This is hokey. The screws are not long enough to pass through the grill and start threading into the spring clips on the J-hooks and still catch the plastic edges. I had to duct-tape the J-hooks on the plastic lips and then try to start the screws. It still didn't work since the screws are just too short. I ended up attaching the J-hooks to the plastic edged on the upper side of the grill opening (closer to the front) but this is much less secure. Frankly, I do not trust the attachement screws not to vibrate lose while driving. I intend to remove the grill and modify the installation method. I will weld the J-hooks onto 316-SS threaded stock cut long enough to catch the plastic lip and protrude through the grill. I'll use small stainless Nylock nuts on the front of the grill to tighten the grill into the opening. American Muscle should really redesign the attachment method for this grill.

    This is my second lower

I bought the full set and loved it. Installation is a breeze with the Z hooks and screws and it looks fantastic. I get comments all the time about how great my new nose looks. However, I have a splitter style front fascia that rides low and forward, so I tend to scrape it a lot. After a particularly hard hit, I got about 60 miles down the road and the lower grille popped right out. So this time, I took extra precautions to keep it in place. Probably not a bad idea to keep an eye on it, even if you're not lowered.

    good look but fragile

the lower grill looks great installed, but the metal is weak and will bend if not handled gently.

    Great Look difficult install!

I purchased this and was so excited to get it and install it myself. When the package arrived I got started the first chance I got, Well when I looked at the instructions they were only really half there. The original grille is supposed to come off the vehicle and then you attach the Billet grille to the original then put it back on the vehicle. They do tell you how to install the billet grille but they assume you know how to take the factory grille off to attach it to. I ended up finding a how to video from american muscles website which is pretty decent but still couldnt get the grill off. I ended up having to install it with the original grill still on the car which made it more difficult. I also ended up having to go to the hardware store to get longer screws as the ones they gave me weren't long enough. All in all the grille looks great though.

once we found the proper way to install it was very easy.

the directions with this grill were very misleading. they should have been more to the point, once we found out how to install it was a piece of cake. my 2011 5,0 looks Great

    Hardware flaws.

It looks good once it is on but there are many design flaws with the grille. The screws that come with it are too short for the upper grille and too long for the lower grille. The screws are incredibly easy to strip out the head as well so be careful. The directions are completely wrong. For the installation of the lower grille directions say to use 7mm socket to remove the 4 nuts of the splash guard. I needed a 7/32 socket for the 6 nuts of the splash guard. I recommend two people and to go in from above to fit the lower grille. There was enough space between the radiator and front fascia to reach down to where the hardware sits. For the upper grille's installation, I did it without removing the grille at all, but you may need to for the outside foglight grille parts. Buy screws that are about 1/4 of an inch longer to make sure of a good fit.

    Awesome looks amazing

Very easy install... Took me like 1 1/2 hours alone to remove the old grill and install the new upper and lower grill... Would like if the lower grill will be a lil more secure, had to buy some brakets in order to make it feel more secure
