Description
Improves Handling. If you want to turn your Mustang into a corner-carving machine upgrade to a BMR Suspension A-arm Support Brace. Installing a BMR A-arm Support Brace will greatly increase chassis stiffen thereby reducing deflection and body roll for track car-like handling.

Tubular Steel Construction. Made in the USA from TIG welded heavy wall DOM steel tubing for superior strength and rigidity, this A-arm support Brace is completed in a durable black hammer-tone powdercoat finish for great looks and long lasting corrosion resistance.

Easy, Bolt-on Installation. The BMR Suspension A-arm Support Brace is engineered to be a direct bolt-on upgrade reusing the factory mounting hardware present on the a-arms' rear mounts. There is no drilling or welding required for a clean straight forward installation. Replaces the factory brace on 2007 and newer models.

Application. This BMR Suspension A-arm Support Brace is designed to fit all 2005 to 2014 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, BOSS and Shelby GT500 models.

Ask a Question

Will this product work with BMR subframe connectors? From the customer photos i can not tell if this support brace can be used along with the BMR subframe connectors. They look like they are mounted in similar places under the car, but i can not tell.

    Very solid brace

Took longer to jack the car up than to actually install the arm. Very solid and beefy compared to the frp, unit. I really like the hammer tone finish, I Expect it to be rust free for years. Front end feels very planted. Can't go wrong for this price point.

    As Described

Installed this the weekend after the BMR K-Member. The oem K-Member has a brace that cannot be re used without fabrication, and for the price of this brace, it makes sense to keep everything rigid.

    A-arm support brace

This toot about 15 mins to install, and added a noticeable difference in handling. I strongly recommend adding this to any mustang.

Extra support where you need it.

The A-Arm Brace came with no instructions. However, I was able to find a single page install sheet on the BMR web site. Installation was easy but not as easy as it could have been. The instructions indicated that the factory mounting flag bolts were installed from the top with the nuts on the bottom; this was not the case. I had to use a very long extension to reach the a-arm mounting nuts from the top through the engine compartment. It only added about 10 minutes to the process. I reinstalled the bolts from the top, applied thread locking compound to the bolts, tightened and torqued the nuts and was finished in about 35 minutes. My car already had a factory support for this function but I figured that a little extra support never hurt.

    Easy to install

Had my shop install this during an oil change. Super easy. Makes the front end handle better. Nice cheap way to increase handling.

    BMR A-Arm Support

The BMR A-Arm support stiffens the front suspension to reduce body sway in corners. Adding it was noticeable even though I already had a shock tower brace installed under the hood. It's an inexpensive way to improve handling that can be installed at home. The brace fit like it should and bolted on with existing hardware. The install looks like a 15 minute job, but unfortunately the factory nut is installed on top of the A-Arm instead of underneath so getting a wrench on it is difficult. Once you get the OEM nut and bolt off it's easy to install the brace by putting the bolt through the top and the nut on the bottom where you can get a socket wrench on it.
