Reuses Stock Cats. The installation of the Ford Racing Boss Style Quad Exhaust System requires cutting and removing the stock H-Pipe and replacing it with the supplied H-Pipe. Best of all, it reuses the factory catalytic converters saving you money.

Legendary Ford Racing Quality. When you're adding new parts to your Pony, you can't go wrong by installing parts from the folks that know it best. Ford Racing's legendary quality ensures a perfect fit and years of hassle-free use.

Application. This Ford Racing Boss Style H-Pipe and Side Exhaust is a specifically designed for use on the 2011-2014 Shelby GT500 Mustang Coupes.

Can this fit on a 2013 GT ? There used to be one listed on the site but this is the only one I see now.

  • The one for the GT has been discontinued by Ford Racing I was told. Don't know why. You MIGHT get lucky searching around finding one that was bought but never installed, but that's about it unfortunately.

Great sound, not annoying even with baffles out.

I already had the GT500 axle backs on my stang and even though they are an improvement over the stockers, I wanted my exhaust note to go up just a notch. I didn't buy mine from AM but got it from an actual boss 302 that was removed for an aftermarket h-pipe. The first thing I did was remove the restrictor plates for that full exhaust flow and sound. After several hours and curse words trying to remove the bolts from the front of the h pipe, I decided to take it in to an exhaust shop for installation. The guy that installed the exhaust only charged me $50 and told me it slipped on like butter. Overall it picked up where the GT500's left off, sounds way better now and is a bit louder/deeper but not abnoxious. The exhaust note at WOT reminds me of an old carb'd V8 when floored, very old school sounding (that's a good thing). Only time you'll worry about waking the neighbors (unless you hate them) is on a cold start, besides that they're not too loud. I just got back from a 5 hour road trip and not once did this exhaust system bother me even though around 75 - 80 mph it does drone a bit. Performance wise I say little to none as I noticed no hp/tq gains from the butt dyno. Is it worth $850? I'd say find a used one first before paying full price because I did not pay close to that at all for a used one. If I did buy at full price I would still say it would be worth the $850 price tag.
