Custom Styling. A set of Red Mustang Caliper Covers are a great way to set off your new rims. These Mustang Caliper Covers from MGP have a big brake race ready look that will turn heads.

Reduces Brake Dust. These Caliper Covers not only look fantastic, but they act as a dust shield to keep your rims looking cleaner longer.

Quality Construction. MGP makes their Caliper covers from light weight 6061-T6 Aerospace Aluminum that is formed to the caliper for a perfect fit. The covers are then powder coated for a long lasting high gloss look. The installation brackets are TIG welded in place for extra security.

Easy No Mess Install. Painting your calipers can be messy and time consuming, but the MGP Caliper Covers simply install over your stock calipers and are held in place with the supplied clip and bolt. For a no muss, no fuss install.

Application. Designed to fit over factory brakes, this set of four MGP caliper covers include all the required hardware needed for installation on a 2005 to 2010 and newer V6 or GT Mustang.

Installation Info
Will it fit my Mustang?
  • Bullitt - 08, 09
  • V6 - 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10
  • GT - 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10

Fits V6 and GT's with factory brake calipers only, does not fit Shelby GT500.

Technical Note. A minimum of 1/8 of an inch clearance between the wheel and the brake caliper is required for proper fitment. We have found that the MGP caliper covers will require the use of a small 1/4" spacer to provide proper clearance with our aftermarket Bullitt wheels, see drop down option above

Review & Install Video

Hey I’m Justin with, and I’m checking out MGP’s front and rear caliper covers, fitting all 2005 and newer Mustangs. So here’s the deal, an aftermarket big brake kit is not exactly cheap, and painting your factory calipers can sometimes not give you the results you’re looking for. These covers from MGP are a great way to cover up those ugly factory calipers, while adding a little customization and helping to reduce the brake dust on your wheels. The covers are offered in a red or a black powder coat and with a number of different logo options. We have a couple here on the table including the red GT logo, the complete black Cobra setup, the red running Pony logo, and the black 5.0 logo, just to name a few. Taking a closer look at the calipers you’ll first notice a very durable T6 aluminum construction, along with that powder coated red or black finish. In addition we have the officially licensed logo right in the center, along with some simulated hardware for a more realistic look. The installation really isn’t all that bad and should take you about an hour from start to finish. Of course you will need to remove your wheels just to gain access to the calipers so make sure you have your jack handy. In addition you’re going to want to make sure 3/8” wrench just to tighten up the hardware on the covers themselves, but other than that everything is completely straightforward. So if you’re tired of looking at those rusty factory calipers and you don’t feel like forking out big dough for an aftermarket big brake kit, you’ll want to look into MGP’s caliper covers available right here at

I did not have the thousands $ needed to get the same look that these covers provide. The install was quick and simple, the hardest part was taking the wheels off! They look great and I get nothing but positive feedback from my friends and even strangers who ask me about them at the gas station!

Look Great, But... careful of wheel clearance. These look awesome on my pony, but if you have purchased 18x10 or 18x9 Bullit style rims from AM, they may not clear the covers without adding a 1/8 inch wheel spacer. I scarred both the front and rear covers on first install test spin. I had to add some hub-centric spacers and repaint with some High-temp engine enamel before I could use them. All\'s good now, just know you may need to get some extra clearance with AM rims.

    MGP Caliper Covers

Just installed the covers last night, hardest thing about the job was getting down on the knees and placing the jack. Installation was very easy, with absolutely no fitment issues at all. The whole job only took a little over an hour. Very little time and effort for a great look.

    Harder than it looks

They look great. My mechanic said they took a lot of work to install. One of them ended up rubbing every time I turned my wheel... so it has a long white gouge in it now.

    Looks Good, But...

These covers definetly add a great look. However! My installation was a 2 HOUR ordeal! Every cover had an issue, from bolts being too long on the front pair, (which gouged my stock rims!) A bastard file fixed that issue, to having to bend the ends to keep from catching the wheel. The back pair scrape the wheel. And there is no way to secure them to the caliper. They are just riding there on the clips. I do not know how to fix this problem as the covers are flat against the caliper! Mayber over time the wheel will wear it down. These covers were installed with factory rims. Dont know if this was an issue, but I DO NOT recall a disclaimer about it either! So, BEWARE! And, the clips were NEVER an issue. So after bending, and filing, and scraping of my rims, they`re on. they look good, just dont get too close!

Look ok, but fit and Installation are less than ideal for the money

Basically for $200 you get semi custom fit pieces of prepainted aluminum with clips. You need to bend the covers and file the clips to make sure they don't rub on the rotors or interfere with the caliper operation. Installation problems with the rears was bad and fronts was average. Once on the look decent, but not great since they don't cover the entire cover. For $200 on an American made product, I would expect better.

Looks great when installed! Took a while for them to fit just right though. Have 18in wheels and had to almost bend the end of the covers to fit. Hopefully they will stay on!

    Big Improvement

Really Improves the look ! Easy install . There are indentations on the face of each caliper where they weld the brackets on the back . But I'm really over joyed with new look of the wheels ! Stang-up !

    Great Product

Very nice product! I have had the caliper covers installed for about a year and not a single issue. No rattles etc. These really look nice. Note that a medium thread locker was used during installation.

    pretty cheezy

I bought these and when I opened the box I sent them right back. They are really fake looking. Painted on bolts, etc. Take a close look a the pictures before you buy. I ended up buying them based on the reviews but the reviews where not right.

Big Brake Look at a Small Price

Just finished installing the 4-piece set behind factory 18\" chromed wheels. REALLY makes you think the wheels may scrape the caliper covers (especially the back wheel ones!), but they do not. When done, you have the big brake look at a fraction of the cost. Looks great!

    MGP brake caliber covers

In my opinion this product is Sub-standard at best , two hundred bucks down the drain then another fifty bucks down the drain for the wheel spacers at that point I just gave up on replacing the stock studs in the hub because of them being too short for the recommended spacer, not going to install the covers….. to bad they would have looked nice but way too much hassle. First the clips to hold the covers in place are a joke, very flimsy with a (it a kind of fits thing going on) first you FITTLE with the flimsy clips to kind of fit and fasten the covers on the calipers then install the wheel back on the hub and immediately find out that there is not enough clearance between the rim and the covers, you read the fine print on the instructions and OH….OH…OH guess what, you need (wheeeeeeel spacers, YA…) HUM….. Well then you buy the wheel spacers witch for the price of the cover kit should have been included with the covers…. Only to find out that the spacer they recommend is not self-centering and can and will through the wheel out of balance, and YA you need to remove the stock hub studs and install new longer studs our will risk stripping the lug nuts out. OH and the covers LOOK to be die stamped aluminum not CNC milled as suggested the only CNC work I can possibly see is the engraving on the covers. Spare yourself the mess and hassle and buy caliper paint then clean and paint the calipers……

Solid Addition, IF Proper Wheels Are Bought

Like others have said, be exceedingly careful when installing with stock wheels, my 2006 4.0 required spacers. However that was short lived, for I right away got my hands on some CS Black with Machine Accent wheels, which provided all the clearance needed. Even though the new wheels are only 18x9s, these caliper covers fit perfectly and offered plenty of space even after removing the spacers. That being said, if you have your heart set on these caliper covers, it's best to have aftermarket wheels that offer more clearance than your stock variants.
