Description
Custom Styling. Give your 3.7-powered V6 a race-ready, "big brake" look with a set of brilliant red Mustang Caliper Covers. Whether you're setting off some aftermarket rims or just adding some custom style, a set of caliper covers will give you a look that's sure to turn heads.

Reduces Brake Dust. These Caliper Covers not only look fantastic, but they act as a dust shield to keep your rims looking cleaner longer.

Quality Construction. MGP makes their Caliper covers from light weight 6061-T6 Aerospace Aluminum that is formed to the caliper for a perfect fit. The covers are then powder coated for a long lasting high gloss look. The installation brackets are TIG welded in place for extra security.

Easy No Mess Install. Painting your calipers can be messy and time consuming, but the MGP Caliper Covers simply install over your stock calipers and are held in place with the supplied clip and bolt. For a no muss, no fuss install.

Application. Designed to fit over stock factory brakes, this set of four MGP caliper covers include all the required hardware needed for installation on a 2011 or newer V6 Mustang.

Technical Note. A minimum of 1/8 of an inch clearance between the wheel and the brake caliper is required for proper fitment. We have found that the MGP caliper covers will require the use of a small 5/16" spacer to provide proper clearance with our aftermarket Bullitt wheels, see drop down option above

Do I need the 5/16" spacers? I have a 2014 V6 Mustang with the appearance package which includes the 18" painted black aluminum wheels. I was wondering if I need to purchase the spacers to install these caliper covers.

  • I'm not sure about about 11-14 V6's or 5.0's, however I had a set installed on my 2010 GT with the stock OEM 18" wheels and no wheel spacers were required. I believe if you have aftermarket custom wheels you may or may not need wheel spacers. Check with AM to be sure they will work if you have aftermarket wheels.

Easy, fast way to add some pop

I installed the MGP Red Caliper Covers for my 2012 Mustang V6 a few days ago, and have already received compliments and inquiries as to where to find them. They installed in under an hour with a floor jack and a lug wrench (Wrench not included with purchase of a Mustang. What the heck, Ford?). There was a brief bit of confusion when I was installing the first one as to which front clips fit on which side, but that was resolved quickly as you can't install the wrong clips on the wrong side and have it fit properly. They really add some 'oomph' to the wheels and are immediately noticeable. I highly recommend this product.

Slick product - check the clearances!

Easy to install product, looks good, should help keep brake dust off the wheels. BE SURE to check the clearance between the installation clips and the rotor (as it says in the instructions)! Otherwise, the rotor will grind down the mounting clip and nothing good will happen after that. Also, keep in mind you'll have to remove these when you change pads. If you're adding these to a car with worn pads, save yourself some trouble and do both jobs at the same time.

BRINGS ATTENTION TO THE DRILLED & SLOTTED BRAKES

What a great investment. The red covers with the silver lettering look the best. Makes the wheels stand out as well. What a winning combination. Literally took less than 3-minutes each to install with the wheels off. Installation instructions were perfect and to the point. Makes my Stang look so good!

    Great look.

These were so easy to install if you follow the directions. The hardest part is jacking up the car. Make sure do don't over tighten them you might break the screw. Also if you tighten too much, they will shift on you, not a problem just back off nut straight and reseat. The piece really looks good, it also fit my 2012 V6 standard 17 in rim.

    Great looks, fit is so-so

Alright, these calipers are definitely high quality. Love the look, love the finish. Great item overall.... except the fit. The fit isn't too bad. It's really close to the rims. I got a squeaking noise after I installed it, and I was hearing that squeak when I take a right turn. I assumed it was the rim touching the front of the caliper on the turn, but I was wrong. After uninstalling the front right caliper, the noise continued. Eventually I found out that it's the caliper CLIPS touching the SIDE of the ROTOR for some reason. I had to bend the clip together to make sure it clears the rotor on one end, and I had to completely get rid of the other clip on the other end. I used 3 metal wires instead and that did the job. No more noise. Besides the fitting issue, I'd give this item 5 stars. It fits well, but you have to make sure that these clips are clear enough from the rotor and the rims. If that's taken care of, it's a great item. Definitely recommend overall!!

    Nice touch

The fit, look and ease of installation made this product a breeze to install and the end results is very sharp looking. The cost is on the high side but I like the bright powder coat finish, I believe the end result is better than painted calipers. Very happy with the look.

That one is a true eye-catcher ... I can tell. Whether on traffic lights or when parking, people look at your wheels. Should be coming from factory on Premium models.

    Nice Piece of Bling

These caliper covers create a nice contrast against Mustang wheels, either stock or custom and they cover up the raw unpainted stock units. Installation is straight forward if you follow the instructions, particularly the note about clip to caliper clearance. My only challenge was ensuring decent clearance between the caliper covers and some new Ford Racing wheels that I installed at the same time (Ford 18x8.5" wheels with an offset of 50mm). These wheels required a 1/8" (3mm) spacer to keep the wheel from rubbing against the caliper cover. I wanted the covers so I acquired 1/8" hub-centric spacers. I could have removed the calipers and painted the calipers but it wouldn't have looked as good. Good quality product, just a bit too expensive in my opinion.

    Great look but ....

Well I'll start by saying very easy to do, if you can take off your tires you can do this and the look is amazing. But there is a design flaw in the back/ rear covers and they don't fit on my V6 2011 what a shame because the look was amazing. Price seems a little high. Sorry I had to return them, but if you can make them fit these are a great look
