Raised Center Cowl. The center cowl is raised 2.5" over the stock hood giving you added engine clearance and airflow when running applications such as aggressively large intake manifolds, or superchargers.
Lift-Off Hood. Cervini lift-off hoods are made to the same high standards as their street hoods from extremely strong, lightweight fiberglass material, but do not feature a finished underside liner or rear screened air vents.
Required Upgrade. Lift-Off hoods require the use of a true functional hood latch and pin kit to keep the hood securley in place as lift-off hoods do not utilizes the original OEM hinges or latch. AmericanMuscle recommends the Ford Racing Hood Latch and Pin Kit. (See drop down option above.)
Application. This Cervini Lift-Off 2.5" Cowl Induction Hood is designed for use on any 1987 to 1993 Mustang, including the LX, LX 5.0, GT and SVT Cobra models. Intended for off-road race use only.
