Did not fit my Mach 1

This fuel door looks great , but it did not fit. It didn't sit in flush with the body. The front side stuck out a good half inch. Also the screws provided were not the correct size to fit the original

Did not fit my Mach 1

    July 27, 2012

This fuel door looks great , but it did not fit. It didn't sit in flush with the body. The front side stuck out a good half inch. Also the screws provided were not the correct size to fit the original holes. I probably could have rigged it up, but for the price I paid it should have fit right out of the box.

This should have fit without any problems. Others have installed this on a Mach 1, as well as the other 94-04 models, flawlessly. We can get you set up with a replacement! Just give us a call at your earliest convenience!

I had problems with the left screws. They wasnt long enough to keep a grip on the two tab hooks. They came loose trying to install it. I had to go to the Hardware store and buy 2 long screws and 2 nuts like the ones on the right side. I aligned it up and put the right screws in and nuts on and then I drilled 2 holes and put the longer screws and nuts on and it was on.
