This is hands down the worst product ever! I do not recomend buying these, the gum they send to stick them on... worthless, someone said use silicone... terrible idea ended up scratching my paint off the tower trying to get the silicone off because this stupid things come loose everytime you drive it and to top it off they dont even look that great in the 1st place.

    Unhappy

One of the 2 caps will not sit flush and centered on the strut. They do brighten up under hood appearance. I would not recommend these and if I lived in the U.S. A . I would have returned them.

    Great part with slight modifications.

    January 14, 2012

Parts look good and add a nice finished appearance to the shock towers, especially when used with the tower brace. Installation was a snap. Only drawback seems to be the shock stud that protrudes through the top of the cover. Within a few miles, the stud had moved around enough during operation that it deformed and cut the hole in the cover. I'm thinking of eventually enlarging the hole and inserting a chromed cap of some sort to relieve and completely cover the shock stud.

    This product could be better

    January 13, 2012

Caps look great as opposed to the stock nuts. Biggest problems are they are over priced at $49.95. I would say they are worth about $20.00 at most. Not enough buytl rubber tape comes with them. Most auto, etc stores do not carry this tape, and a lot don't even know what it is. There is a product made by Elmer's called Tack. I'm giving it a try. Make sure you use something that will hold them on tight. Expensive to replace.

    Use Silicone

    March 31, 2010

Look nice. Easy install, but I recommend using Silicone for a fastener. The gum that comes with them is hard to work with and will not hold.

be sure to have some silicone

    April 20, 2011

These look great, but I wouldn't trust the adhesive that comes with them. I used a bead of clear silicone and they fit perfect. They really do complete the look of the strut tower brace.

    Strut cap covers

    May 04, 2011

These little covers really top off the chrome Stack tower brace. I didn't even use the adhesvie, as the strut brace holds them in place, no problem. Highly recommend getting the tower brace too. Not only does it look REALLY sharp, but it's functional too. I live close by to a bunch of curvy, mountain roads, and believe me, it stiffens up the front end. Very noticably. The caps just top off the ugly bolt stem. Highly recommend the set.
