Ask a Question

Is a stall convertor recommended with this cam and are valve springs also recommended? What kind of power gains are to be expected?

Todd

  • A stall converter is not necessarily needed with this Camshaft. It is a good idea to get new springs and change out the rest of the valvetrain. This will ensure that all parts will work together. This Cam features a valve overlap of 39 degrees. This will give you a decent increase in power that will be noticeable.

    Nice sound

Good pull after 1800 nice sound make sure you change springs to prevent coil bind use tfs2500100. Kit comes with all you need to do over heads can be done on eng but might as well pull heads fresh gaskets and inspect cylinders for wear
