Description
Highly-Reliable Heat Shield. If you need a reliable heat shield to limit transfers of heat in your Ford Mustang’s interiors, then the DEI Floor and Tunnel Shield II is just what you need. This is designed to provide the best heat protection in high-temperature areas such as firewalls, transmission tunnels, floor boards, fuel cells, etc. This product also provides excellent thermal insulation and sound deadening. This can also act as guard against road debris. Made from heavy-duty materials, this heat shield product from DEI can withstand up to 1750°F heat while the adhesive can hold past 450°F.
Constructed to Guarantee Heat Shield Performance. The DEI Floor and Tunnel Shield II is constructed using embossed 10 mil aluminum face bonded to 1/8-inch composite fiberglass core. This is then backed with high-temperature adhesive backing. The result is an improved multi-faceted surface with improved rigidity and provides high-performance insulation. Featuring DEI’s patented finely woven glass-fiber backing, this heat shield is the most cost-effective way to control heat transfer and a great way to protect expensive vehicle components.
Easy Installation. Designed for universal application and with convenient trim, peel, and stick installation, you will not have a problem with this product. It is easy to follow the right shapes and contours to properly suit your application needs. It also adheres to almost any surface or material including fiberglass.
3-Month Manufacturer Warranty. Design Engineering offers a limited manufacturer warranty for a period of 90-days from date of purchase for this DEI Floor and Tunnel Shield II. The warranty shall provide coverage against defects in materials and workmanship. Design Engineering will deem this warranty void in case of misuse, mishandling, misapplication, neglect (including but not limited to improper maintenance), improper installation, or alterations.
