Review & Install Video

Hey everyone what’s up i’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com checking out a kit that will transform your rides interior from grocery getter to show stopper in a matter of minutes, thanks to this polished billet interior kit for your 94-04 Mustang. Billet aluminum and Mustangs have been a popular combination for many years, that’s because quality fit and finish is something that will never go out of style. This kit replaces 7 of the cheap factory knobs and switches, with high quality polished billet aluminum pieces, that will give any interior a face lift and even turn a few heads. Now as always you can purchase these pieces individually if you like, but as you can see you’ll definitely make more of a styling impact and even save yourself a few bucks if you purchase everything together. The kit includes your emergency brake handle cover, your climate control switches, cruise control switches, headlight switch, turn signal lever, tilt steering knob, and also your door lock pins as well. Installing everything should only take you about an hour. Now if you’re really digging this look but still craving more, then you might want to pair this kit up with some chrome gauge bezels, or even a billet t handle knob like we have installed on our 2000 GT here. So if you’re a weekend wrencher, or a diehard show goer, you’ll know the importance of keeping your interior looking as good as your exterior. This billet kit does just that and is sure to take any interior to the next level.

    Billet door lock pins

These look ten times better than my boring black original door lock pins. Great price and a breeze to replace!

    Great look.

They add a nice billet look to the interior. However, the overall fitment does not appear to be specifically designed for the car. If you screw them down all the way, the door lock will not lock completely. If you leave them loose enough to allow the locks to fulling lock, they rattle on the highway and road vibrations cause them to tighten them selves. Then the vibration stops, but you have to loosen them again to be able to lock the car again.

    Looks pretty, but lacks functionality

They look good and are about the simplest install possible, but I have to leave them barely threaded on because the wide top causes the car to unlock when locking the car. Since they are loosely threaded it causes annoying vibration from the stereo/bass.

Not quite the best fit but looks good

Overall these are a good addition, but if I screw them on all the way, the door won't lock. I unscrewed them just enough that there's wiggle room but need to come up with a more permanent solution. This was on a 2005 gt

    Door lock pins

Bought them because my stock door lock pins broke when I twisted them. Better looking than the stock ones and you can manually unlock your doors now that it sticks out. Just in case you happened to disconnect your battery, lock your doors and hopped in lol

    They look great!

I just installed these on a 2013 GT and not only do they looks awesome, but they also fit perfectly! Very easy to install – It took me approx 5 minutes. Just unscrew the factory pins (which is a little annoying with adult sized fingers) and replace them with the polished aluminum ones. Another reviewer said that the sit high – I do not have this problem. When the doors are locked, the pin heads sit almost as low as they could possibly go without touching the door pin cove. I added a photo showing both the locked and unlocked positions – Take a look at it for how it should look in your ride. I highly recommend these. They look fantastic and feel like they are solid aluminum. It matches the other chrome finished features in the car nicely.
