Performance Handling. These Eibach Pro-Kit Progressive Rate Springs will lower your Mustang's center of gravity, reducing body roll in the turns, squat during acceleration, and excessive nose-dive under hard braking. A set of Eibach Springs are great for daily driving, street, and even track use.

Classic Muscular Stance. Not only does a set of Eibach Pro Kit Springs improve the handling performance of your Mustang, but they also improve it's overall appearance by lowering the ride height approximately 1.3" in the front and 1.4" in the rear to eliminate the huge tire to fender gap, for a classic muscular stance.

Progressive Design. Eibach's proprietary progressive spring design provides the ultimate balance to deliver aggressive good looks and high performance handling, without ever compromising safety or ride quality.

Recommended Upgrade. When installing new springs you should also replace your old worn out rubber Spring Isolators with a new set of Polyurethane Spring Isolators, see drop down option above.

Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. These lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your factory size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle’s pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.

Application. This set of four Eibach Pro Springs are specifically designed for use on 1994 to 2004 convertible GT Mustangs only. Not for use on coupes.

Bump Steer 2000 Muastang GT Convertible Will a Bump Steer Kit be requied if installing Eicbach Pro-Kit Springs

DAZSTANG Year: 2000 Model: GT

  • It ceratinly wouldn't hurt anything but i have installed the pro kit on 2 of my mustangs now and never had an issue. The prokit is a pretty mild lowering kit; your not "slamming" it if you will.

How necessary are caster camber plates? If I were to get these springs, how necessary would it be that I also get replacement caster camber plates?

jakemarsh7 Year: 1995 Model: GT

  • General rule of thumb - any time you lower your car over 1 inch (which these springs do), you'll want caster camber plates to obtain proper alignment. If the geometry of your suspension can't be adjusted within stock specs, it can result in premature tire wear and poor handling. Stock suspension tends to lack enough adjustment to compensate for the new drop. Hope this helps!

Will these gt springs lower my v6 mustang Will these gt springs lower my v6 mustang

v6mustangz Year: 2000 Model: V6

  • American Muscle has an Eibach Pro-kit for V6 Mustangs, it's labeled "Eibach Pro-Kit Springs (79-04 V8 Coupe; 99-04 V6 Convertible; Excludes 99-04 Cobra)" It is a different one than the one you mention here. Just to let you know, lowering a Mustang 1.5 inches more than likely will cause geometry changes in the suspension. I suggest you do more research on the internet about Mustang suspension. Look up caster camber plates and matching up struts/shocks to spring rates. This kit is a good starting point, but you may need to upgrade some other parts to get it right., Hope this helps

00 GT Vert- Overall the springs gave a nice drop. I paired them with Eibachs prodamper kit and they ride nice. New Caster camber plates a must for new drop. Bumpsteer kit alos helped greatly. The ride is by no means soft though, although nose dive and body roll are almost non existent.

    Nice Improvement

00 GT Vert Improved ride quality over stock springs, much softer ride. Initial lowering was around 3/4" front and rear. After a few rides the front settled in at 1 3/8" and the rear height varies between 1" - 1 1/2" depending on the level of the fuel tank. Was able to adjust the camber with camber bolts.

    Eibach Springs Pro Kit

Not satisfied with the product at all. Don't know if the wrong springs were put in the box at the factory or what, but only lowered my 99 convertible GT 3/4 of an inch.

    Real tight

I matched these springs with the eibach pro-damper kit. This set-up will keep you real tight around turns... if your used to the stock ride be careful! Don't be afraid of this making you to low, this makes it look nice and american mean, not imported curb scraper

Lowering springs that don't really lower

Springs have been in for three weeks. The reason I bought the springs was to lower the car. I checked before and after with a tape measure no drop. I have been checking every couple days and there is no change, except there is now a creaking sound. The springs were easy to install on a lift with proper compressor. The isolators were tricky to get off the old spring, but very possible if ur careful. Thant being said the car handles better, but not lowered. I am very experienced and installed the springs properly. If you wanna drop the height of your car don't buy these.

    • Response from AmericanMuscle

It can take a few weeks for the springs to fully settle to their complete drop. I've installed Pro-Kit Springs on my car as well and while I saw a difference after installation, I didn't see the full drop for about a month. Hope this helps!

    Eibach ProKit

02 GT Convt -- I like the ride quality, about as soft as stock springs for light loading (small bumps) and firms up quick for heavier loading (bridge to road drop transistions). It was no where near the 1.3" lower in the front, more like .75". And same for the rear, no where near 1.4", more like 1".

    Lowering springs

I have to agree somewhat with T Kraft with this one. Although I think they lowered my car to a nice level and I think the car looks much nicer, I think they could have lowered the car a little more. Overall I am happy with them.

    Pro Kit

These springs set the car down to a nice ride height without the need for CC plates. Gives it a nice look in the back with deep dish rims. Ride quality still really good.
