Does the bar make handling more neutral? I road race my 02 GT, and right now, even after putting 2 degrees neg camber and h&r race springs, the thing still has understeer up the yin yang. I know that a lot of this is because the rear sway bar a rather "soft" sway bar. So, now my question, does this sway bar kit make the car more neutral during turn in and throughout the corner? Thanks a million!

  • I am not sure what else you have done to your rear suspension. Tgese bars are awesome but I think your problem may be in your upper and lower rear control arms if you haven't swapped them already. Not sure on the road race rules but you best bang for the buck would be Maximum Motorsports control arms and a panhard bar. Hope tgat helps.

    Great

Great porduct... If your car is lowered you need to buy shorter endlinks and a bumpsteer kit for the front and adjustable endlinks for the rear, no way around it to have the correct geometry. MM sells the rearend link for $70 and the front for $20. To the guy that gave it 2 stars and said it was a pain and didnt fit his lowered mustang. The endlinks given are for stock ride height and if put on lowered stangs will push the front sway bar up and affect the ride and handling. Also for the rear sway bar too, your suposed to buy adjustable end links for a lowered car.

The front and rear sway bars fit great. Installing the front end links was a pain and you need to raise up the control arm under the end link with a block of wood a little to get the top bushing and nut on. My kit was missing the mounting bracket for the sway bar but I was able to reuse my stock one. I highly suggest getting this kit for your Cobra. Car handles so much better now.

    Meh

I put these on when I lowered my car and did a complete alignment. If your car is lowered its a pain to get them in at all. I honestly feel that the rear should have also came with new end links (being a common failure point on cobra's). A pair of MM adjustable end links fixed that (at an extra cost). Now when the kit is installed I found that I have to adjust my front shocks and driving style because my car now has some crazy under-steer at high speeds. I believe this kit could be pretty good but it needs some ability to adjust and please update the kit with some new end links!
