Low Profile Design. Flaming Rivers low profile steering shaft takes up much less space in your Mustangs engine compartment then the stock factory shaft, making it perfect for extra clearance around custom and aftermarket exhaust headers.

Superior Construction. Featuring needle bearings and chromoly U-joints this Flaming River low profile steering shaft is 13" in overall length with a 3/4" diameter column and steering box shaft. The steering box shaft features 36 splined ends perfect for power steering racks.

Application. This Flaming River Low Profile Steering Shaft is designed for use on 1979 to 1993 Mustangs equipped with the iconic 5.0L V8 and a power steering rack, including the LX 5.0, GT and SVT Cobra models.
