Description
High-Performance Without the Drone. Even though this compact wonder produces excellent driving performance, the Flowmaster DBX Center Muffler has a moderately aggressive deep sound that is refined and smooth, with almost none of the highway drone created by so many performance mufflers. With the DBX, your Mustang can flex its muscles without tiring you out.
Laminar Flow Technology in a Compact Package. The Flowmaster DBX Center Muffler is engineered to a size that makes it perfect for challenging uses. The innovative Cool Shell technology reduces radiated heat while Laminar Flow technology provides superior performance in a small package.
Stainless Steel Performance. The Flowmaster DBX Center Muffler has a durable fully welded exterior case in 304 stainless steel. The internal configuration is made from 409S stainless steel to create a long-lasting performance.
Modifications Required. This Muffler was designed to be used on mutliple applications, as it is not a direct fit replacement part. In order to install this Muffler properly on your vehicle, some modifications to the exhaust system will be required.
Application. Flowmasters DBX Center Muffler fits Mustang models from 1979–2004, except for the 1999–2004 Cobra
