Description
Pleasing Deep Tone with Little Tiring Drone. Other performance mufflers may sound okay until all you want to do is start cruising in your car. Particularly on the highway, other mufflers can generate a tiring drone. The Flowmaster DBX Center Muffler, however, manages to pack superior performance into a compact package with great sound and do it without the usual drone.
The Little Bullet Who Could. Flowmaster engineered the DBX Center Muffler to be a little bullet of a muffler that can outmuscle bigger competitors. With its beefy 3” center inlet and outlet pipes, Laminar Flow internal technology and Cool Shell innovation, it frees up exhaust flow for bigger performance while keeping radiated heat to a minimum, making it a great choice for challenging exhaust installations.
Stainless Steel Strength. The Flowmaster DBX Center Muffler has been built to last. The inside is crafted of long-lasting 409S stainless steel and they’re encased in beautiful, rugged T304 stainless steel. The whole thing is fully welded to create a compact, strong performer.
Modifications Required. This Muffler was designed to be used on mutliple applications, as it is not a direct fit replacement part. In order to install this Muffler properly on your vehicle, some modifications to the exhaust system will be required.
Application. Flowmaster’s DBX Center Muffler fits most Ford Mustang models from 1979-2004, though excludes the 1999-2004 Cobra models.
