Designed with the original two-chamber technology, this MIG-welded muffler is engraved with the brand name, so you can feel confident that you're investing in the real deal. Good value for money, this performance-boosting piece of apparatus will withstand heat and constant use.
Strong Steel Design. Boasting an exquisite physical appearance, the Flowmaster Original 40 Series was built with 409 stainless steel. It is this steel construction that makes it a hard-wearing choice for track drivers. The two-chambered build contributes to noise reduction and adds aesthetic appeal to the already stunning Mustang.
Installation. The muffler contained in the box features an offset configuration to perfectly match its inlet/outlet diameter. Set aside at least two hours for installation, which is described as "light to moderate."
Modifications Required. This Muffler was designed to be used on mutliple applications, as it is not a direct fit replacement part. In order to install this Muffler properly on your vehicle, some modifications to the exhaust system will be required.
Warranty. With every purchase of a 40 Series Offset/Offset Oval Muffler, a Lifetime Limited Warranty comes as standard. Flowmaster's warranty can be redeemed by the original purchaser. Coverage remains valid for workmanship or material-related defects. It is void in cases of misuse, poor installation and normal wear.
Application. The Flowmaster Original 40 Series Offset/Offset Oval Muffler - 3.0 in is specially crafted for application with all Mustang models between the years 1979 and 2004. The set is not suitable for 1999-2004 Cobra Mustangs.
