Remarkably Efficient Design. Replacing your stock restrictive muffler with the Flowmaster Super 40 Series Offset/Same Side Out Oval Muffler - 3.0 will be a decision you never regret. Additional engine power will be released via the robust aluminized steel construction, allowing for the simple transfer of exhaust gases. As a result, your Mustang sounds better, becomes more efficient and emits fewer harmful gases.
Modifications Required. This Muffler was designed to be used on mutliple applications, as it is not a direct fit replacement part. In order to install this Muffler properly on your vehicle, some modifications to the exhaust system will be required.
Warranty. With every purchase of a Flowmaster Super 40 Series Oval Muffler, a Lifetime Limited Warranty comes as standard. Flowmaster's warranty can be redeemed by the original purchaser. Coverage remains valid for workmanship or material-related defects. It is void in cases of misuse, poor installation and normal wear.
Application. The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Offset/Same Side Out Oval Muffler - 3.0 is specially crafted for application with all Mustang models between the years 1979 and 2004. The set is not suitable for 1999-2004 Cobra Mustangs. The muffler contained in the box features an offset configuration to perfectly match its inlet/outlet diameter.
