Description
Deep, Rich Tone That Remains Mild and Free From Interior Resonance. The Flowmaster 3” Super 50 Muffler is a big old boy and in this case, that’s a great thing. Thanks to the outsized dimensions of this great exhaust component, you get higher performance and a more pleasing exhaust sound. Your Mustang will sound deeper and richer, without the annoying resonance that can become very tiring when you’re cruising along on the highway.
Big Truck Heritage for Muscle Car Performance. The Flowmaster Super 50 Muffler is a bigger version of the company’s 50 Series Delta Flow muffler. Designed originally for SUVs and Trucks, it is ideal for high-performance applications and in muscle cars like your Ford Mustang. Thanks to the muffler’s big size, flow restrictions are reduced, which means you get big gains in terms of horsepower, torque, and fuel mileage.
Heavy Gauge Aluminized Steel. The Flowmaster 3” Super 50 Muffler is constructed of heavy-duty 16 gauge aluminized steel for maximum rugged durability and resistance to corrosion. The muffler is fully MIG welding using the latest welding technology for solid seams and a tight seal.
Modifications Required. This Muffler was designed to be used on mutliple applications, as it is not a direct fit replacement part. In order to install this Muffler properly on your vehicle, some modifications to the exhaust system will be required.
Application. The 3” Super 50 Muffler fits Ford Mustangs from 1979-2004, except the 1999–2004 Cobra.
