Will this fit on the raxiom halo fog lights without covering the halo feature?

Baker246 Year: 2008 Model: GT

Good Question (0) (0)
  • Yes, the trim will fit the fog light. The only issue I ran into is I had installed the bullet grill and when I tried to install the fog light trim, the grill was too close to the fog lights to allow for the trim piece, so I did not install them. I will have to remove my grill and re-fit everything to make it work. If you can, install the halo fog lights with the trim, and then install a aftermarket grill - if desired.

    The Chrome Accent

I was a little leary when I read a review that stated these trim rings break easily. I found them to be quite sturdy and they complement the clear turn signal units exceptionally well. They both are needed to really enhance the front end. Make sure that you have tried them out for positioning before you remove the backing from the double sided tape so you know exactly where you're going to place them, with the flat to the top. Once you have removed the backing, move them into position slowly as once that sticky 3M tape sticks, it is stuck. I imagine you would break the trim ring then if you were ever try removing them.

liked the look of these on the website. One review indicated it would be wise to fit align them before the tape was exposed..good advice if you want to get them tofit perfect. Great product and I love the look...really adds to to front of the car

10 months later, not enough adhesive.

Installed these on a new Eleanor Grill on our 2007 GT Vert in time for Carlisle show 2012. Even though it was a new grille, I was careful and cleaned the part, carefully aligned it and checked for fit. Was a nice upgrade, and really made the car look nice. Ten months later, I pull the car in the garage, and one of them is missing. They only sell in packs of 2, so I'm re-buying them. Not cool. Learn from my experience, use some extra double stick tape. What they give you is NOT enough. AM - please share feedback with mfg.

    Mustang Fog Light Trim

The item was very easy to install, I put them on and then had to take them back off in order to insall a billet grill that I purchased. I had to grind some of the inside edge of in order to make them fit right with the grill in place. It all looks GREAT !!!

    not so good fit

I had put on the Stack Racing Billet grille combo kit on my 2006 GT frist. It was a good fit. But then when I tryed to install the chrome fog light trim kit from stack racing not so good of a fit. I had to remove the upper grille to install fog light trim. then had to cut down the ends of the grille to fit around the fog light trim.after all that it looks real good.

    Fog Lamp Trim

I like the look and the hardest part about installing was peeling off the tape. The plastic is so thin one did snap in my hand. Very delicate.

    Awesome buy...

It took me about 15 minutes to peel off the 3m backing and get these put on. They look great! I don't know why anyone would say they were fragile and broke...I thought they were pretty sturdy. A very inexpensive addition to the front that really looks good.

    Great addition but instructions vague

I saw this and decided to jump on it. When I got it the instructions were vague if there at all. I figured it out rather easily. the main problems was that it wasn't mentioned where the notches lined up. Overall very happy I got it.
