Product Description
Ford Racing recommends gear set changes as a very effective way to increase performance in your Mustang. The FRPP 4.10 gear set (8.8 in) features strong forged construction for road or race use.
Hardware Included:
- Ring
- Pinion
- Crush sleeve
- Pinion nut
- Shims
Notes:
- Bearing kit recommended for easier installation, and especially for cars with higher mileage. Add Bearing kits below as an upgrade option.
- For all Ford rear ends, 8.8 inch. These gears will fit all Mustangs with the exception of V6 models.
- Changing the axle gear ratio can throw off the calibration of your speedometer. Recommended upgrade: DM SpeedCal speedometer calibrator.
Shop installation costs will vary, but we have heard numbers between $250 and $300. Be sure to work with a shop you trust for installations. Save money on your installation labor by having your Trac-Lok rebuilt at the same time as your gears are installed, see drop down option above!
