Description
Improve ET's And Low End Torque. Are you looking to get more low end grunt off the line and lower your ET's at the same time? Then look no further than installing a set of steeper gears in your Pony. Ford Racing Ring and Pinion Gears are perfect for street, road, or race use.

Superior Quality. These Ford Racing 4.10 Mustang ring and pinion gears feature a super strong forged construction, CNC cut & lapped gear teeth, and a black oxide finish to resist corrosion.

Recommended Upgrade. Changing the rear axle gear ratio will throw off the calibration of your Mustangs speedometer, but a new Speedometer Gear is an inexpensive way to fix this issue.

Application. This Ford Racing 4.10 Ring and Pinion Gear set will fit all 1994 to 1998 V6 Mustang models equipped with a 7.5" rear end. A master bearing kit is recommended by most installers, especially on high mileage vehicles, see drop down option above.

Technical Note. Installation costs will vary, but a good rule of thumb is between $250 and $300. Be sure to work with a reliable shop that you trust for installations.

4:10s Ford raceing gears will make you fall in love again with your stang

Best money you can spend on your mustang. Takes about 4.5 hours to tear down on a saturday and about 4.5 hours to install on a sunday if your a lazy do it yourself like me. Ford raceing gears uses every thing the same as stock ford gears, same size shims and same amount of turns on pinion nut, just mark the nut with white out and count the turns when removeing it. The same amount of turns to adjust the gears when you install the new gears. Very easy to do with jack stands in your driveway. Lots of You Tube videos on the net to show you how too step by step, that how i learned to do it.. Purchase the installation kit with your gears and replace with new bearings and seals while you have it apart kinda important if you want it to last. Freeze the pinion gear in your freezer over nite and heat the bearing with a hair dryer, they slid on easy for me when i did this. I did not need a press like all the videos showed. After you install your gears on your Mustang it will have wild pick up, very very guick but bad top end speed. A easy fix is a tuner that does away with the speed limiter, welcome back top end speed. Also you will need a Ford raceing speedometer recalibration tool cause you will be off about 20 klms my mustang was. American Muscle sell them also.

    AWESOME!!!

I installed these 4.10 gears on my 96 v6 and got substantial results! If you're looking for that kick back in the seat feeling, this is what you need! Did the install myself. Just make sure you torque the crush sleeve done to spec, can be a little hard
