Ask a Question

clock spring I have a momo hub already. I was wondering if I still need a clock spring if I use this horn contact switch. I broke the old one when I was taking it out so I don't want to order one if I don't have too. Also I have a sparco steering wheel that I'm using but the horn button is very loose, is there an easy way to make it tighter or do I have to buy a new button and do you sell the button seperately?

  • This will take the place of the clock spring. The metal pins on this harness will have to contact the round metal plate that is installed will the hub parts for the horn to work. As far as the button itself, I couldn't tell you, sorry.

    Great Switch to Purchase

I purchased this product for my boyfriend because he placed it on his christmas list and even got me the product part. This made it so easy to find it on the website and order it for him with no problems. It came in a week ago and he loved it I got him a new steering wheel and it was easy to install and so far it has been great!! I would recommend this to anyone and also the website is great to order from even if you know nothing about mustangs or mustang parts like myself.

    Ford OEM Horn Switch

I managed to get this to work on my momo steering wheel and hub with some modifications. Found no info on how to install. Does not plug straight up to 90 model mustangs. Some wires will need to be spliced. Creativivty and electrical knowledge will be required to install on aftermarket steering wheel. It will work though, so i guess thats a good thing.

    Hub switch

Ford OEM horn switch works well, there is some customizing to get it to work though. Depends on your need, can always put a separate horn switch under the dash as an alternative.
