How to Install Ford Roof Trim Molding - Left Side on 2005-2014 Mustang

Step 1: Insert the tip of a flat-head screw-driver into the space between the back end of the molding and the top of the glass. Gently pry upwards until you heard a click. Repeat from the front of the molding.

STEP 2: Repeat Step 1 from the front of the molding

STEP 3: After both sides have been pried loose, lift the entire molding out from the groove in which it is seated.

This is what you should see underneath

STEP 4: Place the new molding into the groove where the old one was seated. Make sure that the plastic clips on the underside of the front and back of the molding fit onto the nubs at the front and back of the groove. Also make sure that the 2 clips that are built into the groove clip firmly into the metal track on the underside of the molding. Press the entire molding firmly down into place until you hear a click.
