Make sure to use the Maximum Motorsports tool if you attempt this while the rear end is in the car... I've replaced just the rubber insert and it's not very fun removing the old ones. I'd recommend just ...

Where exactly does this go? Im wondering if this bushing is for where the rear axle connects to the rear control arm (or aka track arm)? Mine are completely shot and I am having no luck finding them, so is that what these are?

  • Yes, this is the bushing that attaches to the axle side of the upper control arm. It includes the metal sleeve.

    nice oem replacement

These bushing did great. They stopped that annoying squeaking and were the perfect bushing for a 8.8 upgrade n my v6. They were a far amount cheaper than the factory ford bushing. They didn't improve handling but did keep a lot of road noise out from my axle.

    Perfect fit..

I needed to replace the bushings while I had the axle out for repairs. Install was pretty straight forward, throw them in the freezer for a bit and then knock em in with a sledge and 2x4, no issues at all. I am keeping my notch stock, so these were a perfect fit, no fitment issues at all. You can't go wrong with OEM parts..

Great if you need all of these items together

I ended up using only the "C" clips in this set since I went with Steeda Upper Control Arms that required removing the rubber portion of the bushings leaving the shell. Then I went on to replacing my differential with a Truetrac that doesn't require friction modifier. So for a set of "C" clips I suppose I over paid, but if all these items are used, it'll work great for you.

    Money well spent

Make sure to use the Maximum Motorsports tool if you attempt this while the rear end is in the car... I've replaced just the rubber insert and it's not very fun removing the old ones. I'd recommend just replacing the whole bushing. You cannot find a better value for these bushings...and these rubber units are THE way to go unless you change the entire rear suspension setup. A great value for a nice kit.

Must have when replacing control arms

Not a fan of running poly bushings on the housings so always use the ford units... Quick in and out when using the maximum Motorsports tool.. Even with the rear still in the car..

    Good Product

The metal sleeves on the bushings looked to me like they were old, but they installed like they should.
