Improved Air Flow. These ported Ford Racing heads have an intake port volume of 214cc (stock is 174cc) allowing for an intake flow of approximately 291 cfm at .600" lift and an exhaust port volume of 73cc (stock is 62cc) allowing for an exhaust flow of approximately 191 cfm at .600" lift.
Fully Assembled. Leak tested prior to assembly, each Ford Racing Head comes fully assembled with bronze guides, upgraded valve springs, light-weight steel retainers, locks, and seals. Does not include camshaft, followers, and hydraulic lash adjusters.
Application. This Ford Racing CNC Ported High-Flow Driver Side Cylinder Head is specifically designed to be a direct bolt-on performance upgrade for the 2005 to 2010 GT and Bullitt Mustangs with the 4.6L 3-valve V8 engine.
These heads will fit early 3V engines originally equipped with the "High thread" style 16MM spark plugs, but will require 2008-2010 12MM spark plugs and ignition coil upgrades.
Engines with late style 12MM spark plugs can be identified by coil engineering number 8L3E.
Engines with early style 16mm "High Thread" spark plugs can be identified by coil engineering number 3L3E.
