Great fit and cheap insurance

Bearing and seals fit perfect in my extra rear end. Cheap insurance if you are doing a gear install. Absolutely a must if it has a decent amount of miles on it when you get in there. Nice to know that ...

    Just what I needed!

The bearing kit was exactly what I needed. They are high quality and are sold as a kit. Make sure to replace the seals as well. Don't skimp out on that process, or your rear may leak. This kit can be installed by the average guy, it only takes a little mechanical skill. If you don't feel confident about this kind of work, I would suggest taking them to your local machine shop to have pressed in.

Bearing and seals fit perfect in my extra rear end. Cheap insurance if you are doing a gear install. Absolutely a must if it has a decent amount of miles on it when you get in there. Nice to know that it's a Ford kit so you know it's reliable quality not a cheap knock off.

    Came in Ford Parts box

Had them pressed in at machine shop for about $30, so far so good. No leaks from the seals. Pulling the IRS diff out is a tough job though!

They fit the INNER axle bearing, not the OUTER as described.

Ronnie Gardner at PRIME TIME Racecars (5000 Summit Av in Greensboro, NC) installed the bearings and seals in my 8.8 when he installed the new 3.90 gears. I removed the differential and took it to him; I am currently putting the entire IRS back together. Ronnie spoke highly of Ford Racing. The only point I want to make is "Outer" means next to the wheel. "Inner" means next to (or inside) the Differential. These bearings are INNER axle shaft bearings - they are inside the Differential.
