Description
Great For Custom Builds. This production 4.6L SOHC 2V Romeo engine aluminum cylinder head is perfect for custom engine builds. When installed in a 1996-1998 GT it will raise the engines compression from 9:1 to 10:1.

Fully Assembled. Leak tested prior to assembly, each Ford Racing PI Head comes fully assembled with production Mustang GT valve train and camshaft.



Required Upgrade. When installing this PI Cylinder Head it is required to use a Ford Racing SOHC 2V 4.6L Head Changing Kit Ford Racing part# M-6067-D46.



Application. This Ford Racing Power Improvement (PI) Passenger Side Cylinder Head is specifically designed to be a direct bolt-on replacement for the 1999 to 2004 GT Mustangs with the 4.6L 2-valve V8 Romeo engine. If this PI head is being used to upgrade a 1996-1998 GT, a PI intake manifold, head change kit and intake gaskets must be used, sold separately.



Technical Note. Requires installation of oil galley plugs (not included). Will

not work on Windsor engines.

Fit great. Looks great

Fits good looks good. No problems. I would recommend this product for anybody that needs a new set of heads. I also went with a stage one camshaft and new valve springs all fit and looks and sounds great.

  • My PI swap is complete. Before my 96 GT 4.6 2v topped out around 3500 rpm's and then took forever to gain speed. Now my engine pulls strong right up to 6000 rpm's. It feels exactly like a GT should.. Pypes catted Xpipe, FRPP 4.10's, full PI top end, 4 Bank Eliminator Chip tuned by AM Bama Specialists..

    Fits good looks good. No problems. I would recommend this product for anybody that needs a new set of heads. I also went with a stage one camshaft and new valve springs all fit and looks and sounds great. Love my stangs

    I just bought these for my 96 GT. It's a lot easier to work with assembled heads. And a lot more reasonable considering the time and expense of working with the machine shop. I have a Romeo block and putting these Romeo heads was a direct fit. I'll leave more feedback after the cams are broken in.

    Great for PI Swap

    Great for PI swap on low mileage engine. I choose these heads because with an engine with 38,xxx on it i wanted to keep good running and newer parts on it. Shop instal is a good idea with this one, there are a lot of tool that is needed to do this "properly" although you can do this at home with time and the knowledge.
