Even More Power! The stock 5.0 Mustang came with an awesome 412 Horsepower and 390 lb/ft of Torque from the factory, but after installing a Ford Racing Supercharger Tuner Kit you will be planting a ground pounding 600 or more horsepower to the pavement (depending on custom tuning and fuel upgrades).

Required Upgrade. This Ford Racing Supercharger Tuner Kit does not include a supercharger pulley or fuel injectors. Ford Racing recommends the use of 47 lb/hr, high-impedance fuel injectors part# M-9593-LU47.

Application. This Ford Racing 2.3L Twin Screw Whipple Supercharger Tuner Kit is designed to fit the 2011-2014 GT Mustangs equipped with the 4 valve 5.0L coyote engine. Custom dyno tuning is required for operation.

Whipple tuner kit I am interested in the 624 HP Wlipple tuner kit for my 2012 Mustang GT auto. BAMA doesn't do a tune for this? I have an SCT handheld now with a BAMA tune.

  • What do the product details indicate? Basically this will turn your motor into the same one that's in the late model GT350. But there are a lot of other mods Shelby did to allow the car to cope with that kind of power increase. Your handheld unit only adjusts relatively few engine variables. You may need a completely different PCM and other mods.

I am looking to install an SC. I want serious/good power. I also have strict smog regulations here in San Diego. I was looking at the Roush Stage 1, but contacted my local ford dealer for install, and was told that my car currently has 331 rwhp and with the this SC it will bump up to 375. With this amount of money for this SC i cannot imagine these low gains. I was not told with what # boost this would be, but that it was a "safe zone". Can there be a better "tune" roush offers rather than what this comes with? Or is there a better SC? Or can I buy a programmer that will support Roush's SC? I was looking at Ford's racing 2.3l SC tuner kit, but was not sure if it is legal for my state? Thank you for your time.

  • 1. That dealer gave you wrong information right from the start. The 11 GT typically makes 360-370 RWHP stock. Any supercharger will put you well into the 440 RWHP range, not 375 like they said. a tune alone on a stock GT will give you 375 RWHP. The usual boost is about 9 PSI stock for the FRPP 624HP supercharger. It would roughly translate to 505 RWHP if you have an automatic, but this depends on how good the dyno tune is, goals, etc. The tuner kit requires dyno tuning. A custom tune such as the dyno that this requires, is better than any canned tune, like Roush.

Like everyone out there, I was looking ad adding some forced air down the neck of my 2013 Gt for some time . I figured I would break it in , before I went overboard . Started off with some Kooks long tubes , and a set of Magnaflow GT500 Axle Backs . The sound and power wasn't there until now . The car has a much deeper tone , much louder , and obviously the power is something not to take lightly. It has taken this car from a looker , to an all business mechanical powerhouse . The tuner kit worked out perfectly . Picked up some FRPP Cold plugs , and the 47# Injectors. 3.25 Pulley , JLT Cold Air intake . Took it over to Addiction Motorsports here in Southern California and it was on . I had always planned to have this installed and Dynoed so the Procal tuning was never even an option .
