Required For Tremec Upgrade. If your upgrading your Mustangs transmission from the stock T-5 to a Tremec you are going to need a new bellhousing to complete the conversion. That is because the Tremec transmissions have a different bolt pattern than the standard T-5.

Application. The Ford Racing Tremec Bellhousing is designed to be used on 1979 to 1995 Mustangs equipped with a 5.0L or 5.8L V8 that are upgrading to a Tremec transmission. Compatible with TR-3550, TKO, TKO 500, and TKO 600 Transmissions.

Technical Note. Requires use of a diaphragm-style clutch.
