Description
Better Fuel Flow. These Scott Drake 4.6L Mustang High Flow Aluminum Fuel Rails will replace those skinny stock factory fuel rails to reliably flow more fuel to your high performance engine.

Quality Construction. CNC machined from lightweight aluminum these GT fuel rails have huge gun-drilled 13/16” fuel passageways and are completed in a red anodized finish for longevity. Inlet and crossover ports use 7/8-14 o-ring fittings instead of more common NPT fittings.

1/8-27 NPT Port. The driver side rail incorporates a boss with a 1/8-27 NPT port which is perfect for installation of a pressure gauge or nitrous oxide, all while raising the IPS sensor out of the flow path.

Recommended Upgraded. For proper installation to connect to the stock fuel supply, AmericanMuscle recommends a Scott Drake Fuel Line Kit which includes all the required lines and fittings.

Application. These Scott Drake High Flow Aluminum Fuel Rails are specifically designed for use on the 2005 to 2010 GT and Bullitt Mustangs equipped with the 3 Valve 4.6L engine.

  • These fuel rails are an appearance upgrade for sure. As far as needing bigger injectors, unless your motor needs more fuel, you don't need bigger injectors. The addition of a power or aggressive cam would be the only reason to install bigger injectors. Your stock injectors will work fine with these rails.

    Quality material, poor design

Received the product and it seemed like it was a reasonably high quality part until I reached the last steps of installation. First thing I noticed during reassembly was the orientation of the fuel pressure sensor. This sensor is installed 90 degrees off from how it was installed on the stock fuel rail. Rather than having the fuel pressure sensor electronic connector pointing the front of the car and the vacuum line pointing towards the rear, the electronic connector points towards the driver's side fender and the vacuum line points towards the passenger side fender. Sure the vacuum line and electrical connector technically reached their respective homes but they had to be forced there which was putting stress on the wiring harness & vacuum line. 2nd issue - why I am returning this product - is that after starting the car it was spraying fuel out of the hex bolt/plug that is installed in the side of the fuel rail directly beneath the fuel pressure sensor. This hex head bolt came pre-installed on the rail so it's not a user-caused installation problem. I tried tightening this bolt down a bit which slowed the fuel leak but didn't fix it. Maybe removing the hex bolt all together and adding some pipe sealing tape would solve the problem but I'm done fighting with these rails. I'll buy the BBK ones instead.

    Not for a supercharged Saleen

I purchase these fuel rails for my 2006 Saleen. While prepping for the install we took the fuel line and tried to see how to install it around the supercharger and realized that this setup would not would du to the boost actuator blocking the rear access needed. Great product but not for a saleen VI supercharger.

    GREAT LOOKS

Just got done with the installation of these fuel rails and got a big surprise when started up. Fuel was flying everywhere.Turns out that the plug for the NPT fitting was not tight. Some sealing tape cured the problem. Make sure you check this before you install. Otherwise, install went smoothly and these rails really lite up the looks of the motor. As for perfomance, the GT seams to have a little better thottle response. Great product from a great company.

    Fuel rails with curb appeal.

An excellent product, great packaging with detailed instruction sheet, a perfect fit with an awesome finish. I don't know that these rails have done anything for me performance wise (wasn't my main reason for purchase),but they sure do look good (that was my reason)! It took somewhere between one and two hours to install with basic hand-tools, you will need that fuel line connector removal tool though, you can find this at any good auto parts store. - These provided the final finishing touch for my underhood detail and get lots of mention.

    Pretty Easy set up but......

Instructions are self explanatory, for both rails and the fuel line. the one thing that needs to be fixed is the NPT fitting on driver side, it leaks gasoline and all you need is Teflon tape or some kind of adhesive for that fitting and fixes the problem. Other then that, looks great in the engine bay...

Looks good, small issues, no big deal

The rails them selfs are awesome, a few thing to keep in mind when installing, the directions are clear on some stuff, the fuel fuse to pull is a 15 amp fuse, look at your mustang owners Manuel, it will show I were that is. This instructions aren't very clear. Also before you install the furl rails on the side where the fuel is being fed, there is a little hex screw where many people have said it leaks, and it well it does, just put some Teflon tape on it and screw it in and no more fuel leak. Also the tube on top of that rail will be kind of tight so just get a piece that is a little longer and you will have no problem. A Out side of that my car runs a little smoother and idles great. Also installed MSD blaster cool packs with these fuel rails. Thank AM for great products!

    Fuel upgrade

Very nice machine parts no problem to install. To make the final installment faster and easier use oil on the O-rings for the Fuel injectors an do not use WD-40

    Scott Drake Fuel Rails

Very nice fit and finish. Red anodized finish really brightens the engine bay. Installation was very easy but make sure you follow the procedure to eliminate the fuel pressure from the system so you don't hose your engine down with gas. The NPT fitting would be useful for something besides a pressure gauge as the FRPS gets in the way. These flow alot more fuel with their huge bore sizes when compared to the stockers. They look even better in person than in photos. As always, excellent transaction with American Muscle and speedy delivery.

    What an eye catcher!!

They fit really well, on n/a engines. Put this on my saleen supercharger, needed a little adjusting. Couldn"t tell any difference in performance, But when you open the hood!! Made it alot easier to install fuel pressure guage, port already in rail,
