-1 shows the engine bay before installation of the fuse box cover. This car has the factory plenum intake cover with Running Pony Logo that was part of Ford’s Appearance Upgrade Package (Item 50097) and also has the fuel rail covers (Item 13403) and throttle body extension cover (Item 13407) already installed. All items are available from American Muscle. The plenum cover and fuel rails can be purchased as a single kit (Item 13420). The fuse box cover is designed to complement the plenum and fuel rail covers. -Fig.2 shows the parts included in the fuse box cover kit.

Start by removing the factory fuse box cover –Fig 3 and clean it thoroughly using the alcohol wipe provided or a degreaser that will not harm plastics. Do not use degreaser on the finned cover as it will harm the finish. Place the urethane tape on each of the four corners of the factory cover (overlap the edge) as shown in –Fig 4. Let the adhesive cure for 24 hours to ensure a good bond with the factory cover.

Set the finned cover upside down on a soft surface. Peel the red side of the tape off the factory cover and insert it into the finned cover –Fig 5. Press hard to ensure a good bond between the factory cover and the finned cover. Again, allow at least two hours (preferably 24 hours) for the tape to bond the factory cover to the finned cover. Then place the cover on the fuse box –Fig 6.
