When Stock Just Won't Do. The G2 Master Bearing Install Kit - 8.8 inches can make your Mustang better, stronger, and faster. When factory Mustang parts just won’t do, this kit includes everything you need to rebuild your Mustang's axle.
Long-Lasting Performance. The components in this kit are constructed from 8620 steel and precision-machined to meet OEM specifications. Designed to fit your Mustang's 8.8-inch diameter axle with a standard ring gear rotation, it includes a 14-19 inch lbs. preload Timken pinion bearing with a 28-1.625 inch spline count and .011 - .016 inch back lash, a crush sleeve, and shims that have been set to specific bearing preloads.
Installation. Proper installation requires a high level of mechanical expertise, otherwise professional installation is recommended. The kit includes a detailed 20-page instruction guide to ensure it all works.
10-Year Limited Warranty. G2 warranties all of its axle and gear products to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase. See manufacturer's website for details.
