Improves Handling. The most popular progressive rate spring in H&R's line-up, Super Sport Springs will lower your Mustangs center of gravity, to reduce squat during acceleration, body roll in the corners, and excessive nose-dive under hard braking. Sport Springs feature more control than that of the stock factory springs, but are still comfortable enough for daily driving and occasional track use.

Aggressive Stance. The H&R Super Sport Springs not only improve the handling of your V8 Foxbody Mustang, but they also improve the overall appearance by lowering the ride height approximately 1.5" in the front and 1.0" in the rear to eliminate that nasty raised 4x4 truck look for a more aggressive muscle car stance.

Recommended Upgrade. When installing new springs you should also replace your old worn out rubber Spring Isolators with a new set of Polyurethane Spring Isolators, see drop down option above.

Application. This set of four H&R Super Sport Springs are designed specifically for use on the 1979 to 1993 Coupe and Hatchback Mustangs, including the 5.0 LX, GT, and SVT Cobra. Does not fit convertible models.

The Super Sport V8 Fox body springs are a great upgrade for the ride quality and handling of the car. I modified them to use them on my 86' SVO. I cut 1/3 of a coil of the front springs for the ride height I was looking for, since the 4cyl. is lighter than the V8. The SVO sits about half an inch lower in the front, sits perfectly. The car handles like a dream, too.

I really liked how this product dropped the car just the right amount! not to much and not to little plus it made my car a lot easier to handle. The install part took me about almost two hours make sure you have the right tools or go borrow some so it can make it easier for you to get the job done. If you want your ride to look good and drive good these are the springs for you!
